That moves highly touted freshman Matthew Stafford into the starting spot.
Spurrier was at his headgear-heaving best - or worst - Saturday night as South Carolina lost 18-0 to Georgia. The last time a Spurrier-coached college team failed to score in a game? In 1987, when his first Duke team lost 7-0 to Rutgers.
